The weakest part of the game is the Hidden Valley level, mainly because it's dark and boring, (just going through a tunnel), and the ai is frustratingly buggy, but even still, the game is incredibly fun to play and I love the idea of collecting all the different weapons in the game and filling up the tool shed. The gameplay is incredible, and it really represents the best of stealth, but also offers numerous ways of completing each level with a ton of inventive options such as disguises, weapons or environmental interactions. I am glad it was remastered in HD, and I replay the game often. Hitman 2: Silent Assassin is the best hitman game of the series, and the music and levels are incredibly memorable. Many players started their experience to hitman via Silent Assassin and must've been very confused without knowing what agent 47 is and his origin. Silent assassin is the first hitman game on console, and it holds up incredibly well by itself, however considering how important the plot of the first game is as it establishes the character and the plots of subsequent games, it's a real pity silent assassin was the first console hitman game. I remember playing some of the levels in this game hundreds of times over, even after completing them, just because there were so many fun different ways to complete them. The pinnacle of stealth and has a great plot with some very memorable levels and moments. I remember playing some of An incredible game. Know when to strike instantly, know when to take your time. Remember: rash decisions bleed consequences. Learn your trade - master your tools - overcome your obstacles - outsmart your enemies - eliminate your targets. Your targets may hide in the most remote areas of the planet, but their destruction is never prevented - only postponed. Trust no one - if the price is right, the finger of your most trusted ally will be on the trigger. Visit the dark recesses of a world corrupted by crime, greed, degradation and dishonor.
